Pausing to take a breather, I realised we are well into the month of March now. It has been a year into my blogging to share my metaphysical insights and my experiences using it (whenever I can). #missing-times-of-slacking-during-school-holidays
With all that I have learnt thus far, I find myself in a little of darkness. Someone who has guided me a lot in my team is leaving. Crushed. Only a year into my job, fear begins to set in – “Whom do I turn to when in doubt? What do I do now?” (*screaming*)
Then I came across this following quote from one of Dato Joey Yap’s consultants – to embrace all emotions and “Only through the darkness, you will find your light”. That’s actually a common phase used in this metaphysics field. But what does that mean?
I gave it some thoughts and realised:
Light means happiness, inspiration, solutions to issues, inner peace, the Balance (what balance?)
I went to do some research and listen to some seminars from Ted, from the JY team or anything that may give me a hint. This is what I discovered (1).
My top 3 ways I took and still taking for that internal balance are:
- Journaling or writing or talking to someone. Writing and describing the feelings, stress, fear at hand, instead of bottling it up. Taking a walk in nature, the park or just walking to take in some fresh air helps.
- Talking or discussing the next step(s) to take (in this case, i.e. superiors and colleagues). Plans may have already been in progress – to keep our heads up!
- Be better, always; To Learn – to learn a new skill and strive to be more independent than the past. Reasons we fear could be due to having been too reliant on others or being stuck in the comfort zone. I guess I would need to keep on learning and to learn harder/smarter.
